What is a thread lift?
A thread lift is a delicate, minimally invasive procedure designed for those who are experiencing early signs of aging including sagging and laxity of the facial skin, jowls and neck. A more convenient alternative to traditional facelifts, a thread lift will discreetly rejuvenate your skin without the risks and without downtime.
What is the treatment like?
A thread lift is an outpatient procedure and can be performed in 30 to 60 minutes. It is done under local anesthetic and patients can go home or resume their activities after the treatment.
During a thread lift, fine sutures (threads) are inserted into the face using needles. These threads are made from safe and biocompatible materials that have tiny barbs to help them hold and lift the skin tissue in place. The threads are hidden within the skin and the treatment doesn’t cause any scars.
After the procedure, the treated areas are lifted, eliminating sagging and giving patients an immediate natural younger looking appearance. A thread lift also stimulates natural production of collagen which gradually restores the shape and volume of facial skin.
